Comparing Characters

I notice that the characters in the books of Stormbreaker and Fly Away Home have many of the same qualities. In both books, Alex and Andrew show a lot of maturity for being so young.

Andrew is young and is growing up in an airport with hardly nothing but he still has a positive attitude. He saves all his money to help out his dad and hopes they will soon live a better life. He really wants a home like most people already have.

Alex is very young too and is part of a training group. Most of the older guys like Wolf and Fox always seem to pick on Alex. They think he is too young and never going to make it through the program. Alex is mature and acts very tough around the older guys. Alex tries his hardest to finish the
