Fred Schultz Essay

Schultz was born in Brooklyn, New York. He’s birthday is July 19, 1953. His parent’s names are Fred Schultz and Elaine Schultz. They lived with his grandmother until he was three years old. They moved out in 1956 to a place called Bay view, New York. Long time ago it was a poor place; they were called “the working poor”. They had a school, a full playground and a basketball court, but still no one was ever proud to be from the Bay View. Schultz was still happy to be living in the Bay View; the housing was small with only eight brick buildings. The building Schultz lived in held around 150 families in these small apartments with only two bedrooms in each apt. But when Schultz came back to the boss man of Starbucks things were really bad, it was worst than he thought it would be. There was a roomer that Starbucks used tap water, not filtered and that is one of the reasons why Starbucks went down hill when Schultz stepped down. But when he stepped back up he got so much emails like up to 75 to 100 of them every morning saying those things to him. The most difficult thing that Schultz had faced when he had returned was trying to get Starbucks back into a good looking place not they way they saw it. People even started to say McDonalds is so much better than Starbucks that it will overpower them and kill their business. They had to make a variety amount of very hard choices, but before they had to do this they had to make an important meeting where they were telling the whole company that they had failed all 180,000 stores. That there leadership was not okay and even though he stepped down as CEO he was still around as the chairmen. But he didn’t do a good job of keeping in touch and working as hard as he did. He did admit and owned their mistakes and after they did that the business boomed
