1. Comparatively integrated workplaces. Some of the demographics do not integrate into the workplace making it not racially integrated as some might think. The more social integration will mean more ideas and a stronger decision making process. The author sometimes sees the integration failing as there is more inequality among divisions among race and ethnicity. So Estlund is a strong advocate for the diversification of groups to see other alternatives and solutions.
2. Estlund sees negative stereotypes and hostilities towards other racial and ethnic groups happens with ignorance, this is reinforced with segregation happening in society. Estlund views that as a roadblock to not growing society and thus more tension and division among race
