Life is about making choices, but some of them can even change our life. Two years ago I decided to come to America for my higher studies in Western Kentucky University. Although I knew it was really a challenge to me, this significant decision that I’ve made was going to change everything about my life and me. There are many things in life that can change the course of a person’s life. It can either make a positive impact or a negative impact on a person’s life. It’s always best to have the positive impact though. For me I have had a positive experience that has changed my life forever and that is coming to a different land and culture.

I felt it was such a humbling experience to know how different the world is, and yet at the same time, how similar our lives are.
We all nurture the same aspirations and determination to educate ourselves and contribute to the growth of the society. We all choose to travel great distances for personal achievement. I enjoyed that feeling of comradeship instantaneously.
The best part that happened to me after coming to US was meeting a person whom I decided to spent the rest of my life with “my fiancée”. He is always there with me in all my joys and sorrows, America is now not an alien land to me and being with him I had enjoyed every moment of my life.
Slowly it’s becoming an experience, which I never would like to come to an end. I have another two years, which I am going to, spent here in Western Kentucky University and I have decided to study hard because that is the first thing I came here to do and to enjoy every moment of my coming life. Everyday now is a new experience for me and I learn different things everyday from those experiences. I would like to end this with a quote:
