Living in America, you tend to pick up things that might be uncommon to you because of where you come from. At the time that you can't even afford the things that you wanted. Growing up in the Philippines, my family struggled with financial issues, most of the things that I had were hand-me-downs. Living that kind of life taught me to not be too wasteful and don't throw it out if it's not completely empty.

When my family arrived in the United States I was eight years old and was also very excited because it was a new start for us. My parents told me, in here we could, at least, have a decent life. Now we have a house and a car and were not just trying to get by anymore, me and my brothers have a little bit of freedom.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with Power Rangers so when I got here I was in 3rd grade I just started earning up for them. I remember each one was 25 dollars the first one that I got was the Red Ranger I've never been so happy since I got it.

One of them is the Jordan 7 French blue this is the shoe Jordan wore when he won the Olympic gold medal with the dream team. It was first released in 2002 and released as a retro in 2015. Second one is the retro Jordan 5 these are the new Jordan’s that released with multiple colorways also the shoe that he wore when he dropped 69 points in a season. The design on the sole was inspired from a ww2 fighter jet and one of the most popular sneakers because it was worn by will smith in the TV show fresh prince. Lastly this shoe is the one that I really wanted to put in my collection it is the retro Jordan 11 legend blue these are the most popular Jordan’s because he came back in a NBA season and won a championship in these.
