Nowadays, with the development of the economy, more and more parents like to send their kids to America or England to study. These parents want their kids receive a good education. My parents also sent me to America three years ago. Actually, before I came to America, I had thought a lot about my life in America. But when I came to America, the life was different from what I expected. These differences happened in three aspects such as study, lifestyle, and language. First of all, most people think it is easy to graduate from America universities. But when people come to America, they find that it is very different. Students have to study really hard to graduate from their university. For example, when I was in China, my friends who came back from America told me that math was easy to study, and students were very relax. I felt happy because I had too much homework to do in China. But when I came to America, I felt sad because I had to finish my assignment every day. Also, math was not really easy. I even could not understand the class …show more content…
They think they can communicate with American, but it is very different. For example, I had studied English every day before I came to America. I thought my English was very good, and it was easy to communicate with American. When I came to America, I felt nervous in the airport. I had never seen so many Americans at the same time. I even forgot the English that I had learned in China. I felt shy, but I tried to communicate with them. They could not understand me because of my accent. I felt disappointed, I started learning really hard. Now, I can communicate with American people, and I will never feel shy. In conclusion, the life in America is different from what I expected, and it performed in three aspects such as study, lifestyle, and language. It is not that easy to live in a foreign country.
