College Admissions Essay: The Three Keys To Success

I graduated college with a bachelors degree in physics and quickly found that getting a career in my field would require a subsequent masters degree or a degree in a more focused field of engineering. With the help of family I was able to procure a position at an oilfield company in which I was tasked with troubleshooting, researching, and designing thermoplastic liners for oilfield tubing. While this job had the potential for growth and development, it quickly became apparent that my ideas and innovations would never take shape in my lifetime. Around two years in to that job, I made a conscious decision to give up that job and move back to Dallas to marry my wife and start a life. After 2 years, having observed the ever-changing restaurant world, I decided that I needed to look into a new career. With the support of my wife and her family (the majority of which are teachers) I looked into alternate certification for teaching. Upon extensive research, it has become my opinion that this opportunity would be the perfect fit for me. Understanding the three keys to success could prove to be paramount to my success. It will be important to walk into my classroom daily with the understanding that I will not reach every student. This means that I can expect to have negative feedback and that not everyone will leave my class, at the end of the year, feeling as though they have had a life-changing experience. However, if I continuously find ways of encouraging myself and stay focused on teaching the things with which I am comfortable, I can finish the year with a sense of accomplishment. It will also be necessary to find a method of organization for my classroom teaching and for my life. Knowing that this has particularly been a struggle for me in the past, and understanding that it is positively necessary, I can determine the best route to
