The authoritative leader mobilizes the team toward a common vision and focuses on end goals. The authoritative style works best when the team needs a new vision because circumstances have changed. Well, the hospital has recently lost 2 surgeons and the surgery volumes have declined by 25% this has caused a dramatic impact on the hospitals budget. CNO Jones need to reduce the salary expenses and meet financial goals specified by the CEO and CFO.
