Expectations: clear expectations, vision for the future
Planning and organizing skills are one of the main leadership skills, it is connected to skills like communication and motivation in order to create an effective leader.
Leaders need to develop a vision of the future while they establish the operating direction. Communication and inspiration are needed for presenting the vision and overcoming hurdles.

In order to build mutually clear expectations, leaders should know exactly what they expect to have and where they need expectations. Vision-setting activities should be imposed by the organizational culture to help employees know what they need to do, how their work contributes to the organization, and whether there are impending changes.

Their resiliency would be high even during times of stress and change. It creates less employee frustration and conflict and builds a trust within the organization. Clear expectations are also helpful when organizations experiencing the crisis. MaKinsey surveyed the leaders on what they feel are the most important types of leadership behavior 47% of them believed the ability to present an inspiring vision of the future is the key behavior to navigate through the crisis and to manage performance after the crisis. Thus, expectations are very important part of planning and organizing skills for a leader to survive in the competitive global environment,
