There are differences between mission and vision. A Vision Statement let’s a company know where it is headed and where they want to be, whereas a Mission Statement represents the reason for the company’s existence. The company that I would utilize for the Case Assignment will be the agency where I am currently employed and addressing the Vision and Mission Statement.

Vision Statement
SCO Family of Services envisions communities throughout New York City and Long Island that support family life and personal well-being, where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

The aforementioned Vision statement indicates “seeing something in the future” and the goal should be seen by others and prompt others to want to be and become a part of the success
