The center of servant leadership within the church is “to prepare God’s people for work of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” (Ephesians 4:12) Metaphorically speaking, the body of Christ, being the organization will be built up by the support of a servant leader. God has made Christ “head over all things for the church.” Like God, a leader is head over all things within the organization. Therefore, my mission is to serve others, to give my followers my full attention and guidance. Christ came to give His life.
