Childhood vaccinations are quickly becoming a concerning issue within the U.S. healthcare system. Vaccines are created in an effort to protect the population from the impact of fatal diseases, which has progressively disappeared throughout generations. However, some parents are refusing to get their children vaccinated for numerous reasons. This decision is resulting in the reoccurrences of once eliminated diseases in the U.S., such as measles and whooping cough. By refusing childhood vaccinations, parents are not only putting their children’s lives at risk, but other people’s lives also.
