Fast food is one of the fast growing industries in the world, according to the recent market research (Euromonitor.com, 2015). The quick growth in the industry has for long been attributed to it associated tasty products, which leaves its consumers craving for more from day to the other. However, while this remains a valid reason, the strategies used in the industry to promote its products have a big share as a reason for the rampant growth (Craig & Annison, 2011). There are not that many commercials on the TV advertising Chick-Fil-A. The promotional strategies that they use are large bill boards with a 3D cow and the statement “Eat Mor Chikin”. Chick-Fil-A also uses the 4 P’s product, promotion, price, and place Chick-Fil-A is known for their famous chicken sandwiches that can be served for breakfast and lunch. Chick-Fil-A is also known for the many other dishes that they offer such as the numerous side dishes and desserts Chick-Fil-A’s slogan might be one of the longest running ads for the company. The cows are known for the brand of the company and is used in a variety of media outlets. Most business strategies are to keep the customers engaged to keep them coming and to gain the customers loyalty. McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A are two very influential companies in the fast food industry. The two companies sponsor a number of activities that are affiliated with other big companies.
