Nudie Jeans takes their social responsibility very seriously. They buy all organic products locally in other countries such as India and Italy, and manufacture responsibly by treating their workers fairly and giving them equal wages. They purchase all Fairtrade certified cotton which is grown without any artificial fertilizers, pesticides or genetically modified cotton from an Indian non-governmental organization called Chetna Organic. Chetna Organic works with small and marginal farmers to improve their livelihood thought sustainable all organic cotton farming.
Nudie Jeans has also been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since November 2009. The Fair Wear Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization striving to improve working conditions
