There is a chance though, that not buying from this brand, and persuading others to not, will force the company to change its unethical factors and become an ethical brand or risk closing down. People could then negotiate reasonable terms with the company which would help everyone out, by ensuring that all the workers are paid enough to live off of, stopping the use of sweatshops, ensure that all the products are Vegan or as a starting point that they are at least labelled to inform the consumer that the product is not Vegan.
In countries like El Salvadore, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and more where this company has sweatshops, the workers have no unions, hence forcing them to endure the job they have or lose their job. These people have no other option, so it is a difficult decision, but as consumers, we can change this to benefit the workers who work so hard to make the things we take for granted and make their lives better. According to a 2014 report by the Clean Clothes Campaign, this company is doing little or nothing in order to ensure that all of their workers are paid enough for them and their families to live off.
