The decision to cut down unnecessary cost such as the excess labor was a wise move so that the available fund could be directed on to necessary activities that improves the needed. One of the main and important decisions concerning change was when he decided to invest in research and development which was to assist in improving Intel Company into being the leading company in the market. Other changes included the reorganization of their business units for the company putting into place measures to ensure good customer relations which positively assist them in the market.
He also made sure that the company avoided duplication of its products and services hence he promoted coordination, and increase flexibility by decentralizing and delegating do place to bring about change that also acted as an internal pressure to Intel Company, this assisted in preventing the self-competition the earlier existed.
