Date: 10-13-15: The client was eager to be in therapy today. The client participated in every activity. The client even suggested activities for future sessions (i.e., using prolonged speech while bowling). The session focused on role-playing and using stretchy speech in structured and unstructured games. The session began with free play. The client and the clinician completed a puzzle. The client enjoyed this activity. After the puzzle, the client and clinician began a role-playing storyboard activity. The client and the clinician reviewed last week’s role-playing activity. The client then prepared a story about the dinosaur that was bullied. The client and the clinician then created the storyboard. The client did an excellent job with this activity. The client was excited to place his story on the Publishing Wall. Next, the client and the clinician …show more content…
The next session will focus on the use of prolonged speech, education of the speech mechanism, and identification of bumpy speech.

Date 10/15/15: The client was excited to be in therapy. The client even brought his own material to help tally his score for activities. The session focused on education on the speech mechanism, identification of bumpy speech, and use of prolonged speech during a structured game. The session began with an activity called voice talk. The client and the clinician discussed the functions of the voice box. The clinician drew his representation of the voice box. This drawing will be compiled with the previous drawings to complete a booklet on the speech mechanism. Next, the client and the clinician participated in car talk. The client began using his voice in different ways when traveling down different roads. The client enjoyed this activity. However, the client became distracted during the game. The clinician then switched activities to Candy
