After today’s class discussion, I was able to learn new and different ways to take data. It was interesting to see how similar and different recording data can be depending on the goal and disorder. For example, last semester I did not find it as hard to track data for my accent modification client. However, this semester I have changed the way I keep track of data during sessions. My client is working on basic age appropriate sounds mainly because she exhibits a lot of phonological processes. In addition, we are working on increasing her MLU in different ways. I agree with Morgan in that it is hard for me to record new or spontaneous words during session. I believe this has become difficult for me because my client is a 2 year old who is easily
