When a person has reached success they’ll usually know, factors that would determine a person has reached it is when they are happy and content with life, completed all major goals and are comfortable. Bill Gates was an entrepreneur who was able to reach success by being the founder of the world 's largest software system, microsoft and became the most wealthiest man in the world at the time. Even though he came from an upper middle class family he was no exception to obstacles and overcame a number of challenges to get to where he can be stable and comfortable in life. The business was established in April 4, 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Microsoft was the world 's leading producer of computer software, at the time market for home-based computers was rising and it created a new demand- software to go with them and Bill Gates and Paul allen immediately saw the potential and acted on it. Bill Gates and Paul Allen created Microsoft because they realized their joint vision of developing software for the emerging personal computer market. Bill Gates is considered an entrepreneur because he started a business that became one of the largest companies in the world and has become the standard for PC operating systems and software for personal and business use. When Microsoft had first started the worth of the company was about $407 Billion because it was the only superior software and there was no competition so it had monopolized. Before Microsoft Bill and Allen originally started a company called "Traf-O-Data," which featured an automatic way to read and organize data pulled from traffic tapes. The company was a complete failure, and the product didn 't work how they intended it to work, although this first failure did have Bill contemplating whether he should be a lawyer like his father it didn’t stop them from going onto better things. After opportunities started knocking at his door he dropped out of Harvard. While working towards success Bill Gates was always stressed and didn’t have time for sleep, working 16 hours in a day for 5 years. After he reached success and his life goals were almost completed he still encountered challenges like his mother dying to breast cancer a few months after his marriage but was able to move past that tragedy and start his own family shortly
