There are many topics that most people are for and against which is I guess a normal reaction to some things. One of the most controversial topics would be abortion. According to the U.S., abortion statics in 2005 1.21 million abortions took place (U.S abortion Statistics , 2010). Another reason I feel that abortion may be considered is if a women has been raped. The trauma a woman endures from being raped is something that some women never recover from. Being pregnant is a reminder of an event that has deep scares for her. A woman may have this hate towards the man that has raped her and may take it out on the child. That is an environment no child no matter should have to go through. Now they could carry the baby until full term and then give the child away. But with the psychosis someone goes through after such a traumatic event can be detrimental to both child and mother. This topic is a very touchy issue no matter what side of the issue you are on. But I feel for all issue you can find a reason to be for and against the same issue. It just like politics for some people they can’t be just democratic or just be republican, they believe in different topics from each party. Being on this line of being for and against an issue is kind of confusing, especially when the issue is abortion.
