Competitive advantage is when an organization has something that competitors don't, it does something better than other organizations do, or it does something that others can't (Coulter, 2007).The publicly traded company that I've chosen to describe competitive advantages on is Bank of America.The view I will be using to describe Bank of America's competitive advantages is through the I/O view, looking at the companies external factors. According to Forbes, BofA is positioned very high in the banking industry leading in the #2 position in America. BofA's competitors include Chase bank, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and US Bancorp.
