What Is Costco's Competitive Advantage

Before reading this case study I did not know a lot about Costco. From what I have learned thus far, Costco has the competitive advantage over other major chains like Sams club. Costco is effective in maintaining customer interest by providing “luxury” products. Furthermore, providing services not seen at other retailers making Costco a one stop shop for everything from travel, financial, and insurance services. Also, Costco has been eco-friendly by eliminating things likes styrofoam trays for meat packing and this has reduced cost and made it easier for customers to freeze meat products. Benefits offered at Costco surpass many of its competitors like higher pay and excellent benefits packages. Promoting within the company gives every employee
