United States Army regulations are very important. Being a member of the United States Army is a job that must be done correctly by the men and woman who chose to answer the call of duty. These regulations must be followed by all personnel enlisted or officer. These regulations also must be followed by all branches of the army whether you are national guard, reserve, or active. These regulations are also very important even when you are still in training. If they are not followed it can greatly affect your life. It can also affect your privileges while in training. If you have tobacco in your possession during the duty day it can get you in trouble while in training. Not only will you lose your pass privileges, but you can also receive a counseling statement. Counseling statement can and will stop you from being able to receive a promotion while in training. You may also end up writing an essay for your platoon sergeant about army regulations. You must also keep your living areas clean and neat. There are many regulations that govern what you can and cant do, and not following these regulations can result in losing any and all privileges that you have earned.

If you are in the military you will want to get as many awards as you can. You will also want to make rank as quickly as possible. Not following army rules and regulations is a quick way to make sure both of these things don’t happen. Getting in trouble will stop you from being eligible for certain awards and honors. It will also stop or slow any and all promotions you may have been able to receive. Getting in trouble and getting counseling statements will stop you from getting promotions. The easiest way to stay without rank and without any awards is to disobey army
