It was also proven that after some laws being passed against teenage driving, it lowered the crash rates. Distraction was a main factor of the crashes. 60% of all teen crashes were caused by distractions. It talks about different types of distractions, like cellphone, talking with passengers, or looking around. Also they say that many of the motor vehicle that teens drive doesn't provide good crash protections.
