This site is created by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It shows that motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among 15 to 20 years old. It was also proven that after some laws being passed against teenage driving, it lowered the crash rates. Distraction was a main factor of the crashes. 60% of all teen crashes were caused by distractions. It talks about different types of distractions, like cellphone, talking with passengers, or looking around. Also they say that many of the motor vehicle that teens drive doesn't provide good crash protections.
