Animal Testing Is Cruel To Pursue Technology By Killing Animals

Improved Essays
The testing on animals is a very touchy subject. It makes people wonder whether or not its cruel to advance technology by killing innocent animals. Killing animals for testing has its benefits but it's still inhumane to do that to animals. It can destroy populations of animals if tested often and if every lab has its own supply of animals the populations will drop by extreme numbers. The animals that are tested on often get terrible treatment as the people testing on them know they will soon die. 0e9
By testing on animals we can get a head start on technology, curing diseases but even the animal closest to our genetics, the monkey, will produce different results then humans when tested with chemicals. This means that a monkey might not have harsh side effects but humans might. The testing sometimes doesn’t produce results at all and even if it did it would take countless amounts of tries and animals have life's too. For some people in their religion killing animals like this is very cruel and almost considered murder. It is very inconsiderate to kill animals like this and doing this should not be the way to advance in technology there are different routes that we can take.

A lot of people believe that because many scientific breakthroughs require animal testing but what they don’t understand is that just because they used animal testing doesn’t mean the breakthrough came from the testing. Many times breakthroughs use animal testing but don’t actually use any of the information they got from the testing due to the fact it can be inconclusive to use animals and assume that humans will react the same way. Also you can say that animals are better test subjects due to their short life span but the animals that do have short life spans don’t prove to be genetically similar to us at all including lab rats and other kind of

Animal testing has been a useful bit of society by checking the safety of procedures and it is a legal and morally correct strategy for testing. Although the core of this claim is valid, it has a mistake in its logic as in the idea where it concentrates on the lives and well being of people in general yet has no thought for the lives of the animals being tested on. Animal testing is an advantage to people, yet this advantage comes with a downside, in place for the positives the animals need to suffer an incredible negative, they suffer consistent animal cruelty that may even lead to death. The moral thoughts of many people would conflict with the testing on animals because delivering agony on another animal is unethical. With science developing as time goes by animal testing slowly becomes outdated, if cells and tissues are able to be built and…

Overall the testing on animals is cruel and unfair it causes them fear, stress, and pain that is forced upon them without consent. It's useless because animal anatomy is different from human anatomy. Most likely the results will not end in a good way in order to help humans with their problems. There are different ways to find the solution to the experiments that scientist are doing and it would lead them to a better outcome. Animals would be able to live safe normal lives if these alternatives were taken into consideration.…

The California Biomedical Research Association claims that nearly every medical breakthrough in the last 100 years has resulted directly from research using animals (“Why Are Animals Necessary in Biomedical Research,” 2013). However, 95% of drugs fail in human trials despite promising results in animal tests ("Arguments against animal testing,” n.d). Also, Dr. Richard Klausner, former director of the US National Cancer Institute states that they have cured cancer for decades and it simply didn’t work in human beings, proving that animal testing isn’t as effective as people may…

In conclusion to animal testing, there are many different sides that people can be on. One can be against it, or one can be for it, and or another could be for sections of both. Depending on what you believe in is how you see this but the argument that is being held right now is that it is wrong. Animals have no idea what is going on and they are confused. The pain the registered in their brain and they do not know why.…

There are no laws that protected lab animals which gives the scientist the power to do what they want to the animals, the things the sceincetist do to those animals are unmagineable for us as humans to think about, but these lab animals have to do that their whole life until they die on a test that probably won’t even work. Thousands of animals are killed from animals testing. When animals are in captivity they aren’t treated with the right care that they need. Animal test gives animals great pain when being tested.…

“92% of experimental drugs that are safe and effective in animals, fail in human clinical trials because they are too dangerous or don’t work” noted by The Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Obviously a solution to the constant abuse and unsuccessful testing is needed, but what? The answer should not be more animals; it should be new opportunities. New opportunities for animals as they escape into a normal life. New opportunities for humans as we further our understanding in technology so the use of animals is no longer needed.…

Thoughtful and creative title The total amount of animals killed each year in research is 19,500,000, there are many opinions on animal testing on whether it is beneficial or necessary. Proponents think that animal testing is important because it keeps humans from unnecessary testing, and helps us come up with new techniques to keep people healthy. Opponents oppose this because there are alternatives to animal testing, it is not safe for animals, and animals are very different from human beings and therefore make poor test subjects. In my opinion, I think that if there are alternatives to animal testing that there is no question that we should switch over.…

To begin with , in my consider about animal testing comes down to be a big deal because their are people that are out and will do anything to save these animals from diseases , cancer and more . As in testing what their genetic's can do such as running as fast in 1.2 per second , hopping , swinging and , see how long they breathe under water a'lot of animals is pretty cool of what they can be able to do but when it comes down from a animal getting hurt it depends on us whether we can save or not as it states in the text 'I WOULDN'T BE ALIVE WITHOUT ANIMAL TESTS . But in fact most scientist do enjoy using animals for testing , because they become attached to them . all mammals have the same essential internal organs. To appear my well-being is to endorse whether animals testing is the best way of deciding whether products are safe for humans because animals are genetically similar to humans .this what I'm to be talking about today animal testing is still necessary to us people.…

Taking the Polio vaccine, for example, had been tested on animals and that got rid of the disease all together once given to humans after testing. Although it has been helpful with some diseases like finding the hepatitis B vaccine with the use of testing on chimpanzees and taking pancreases out of dogs to discover the use of insulin does not mean animal testing should still be relied on. There is still the fact that ninety-five percent of the drugs that have been tested on animals failed with humans. That five percent of the drugs that actually worked is a very small margin. The chance for failure is much too high with animal testing than it is to actually…
