Animal Testing Is Cruel To Pursue Technology By Killing Animals

Improved Essays
The testing on animals is a very touchy subject. It makes people wonder whether or not its cruel to advance technology by killing innocent animals. Killing animals for testing has its benefits but it's still inhumane to do that to animals. It can destroy populations of animals if tested often and if every lab has its own supply of animals the populations will drop by extreme numbers. The animals that are tested on often get terrible treatment as the people testing on them know they will soon die. 0e9
By testing on animals we can get a head start on technology, curing diseases but even the animal closest to our genetics, the monkey, will produce different results then humans when tested with chemicals. This means that a monkey might not have harsh side effects but humans might. The testing sometimes doesn’t produce results at all and even if it did it would take countless amounts of tries and animals have life's too. For some people in their religion killing animals like this is very cruel and almost considered murder. It is very inconsiderate to kill animals like this and doing this should not be the way to advance in technology there are different routes that we can take.

A lot of people believe that because many scientific breakthroughs require animal testing but what they don’t understand is that just because they used animal testing doesn’t mean the breakthrough came from the testing. Many times breakthroughs use animal testing but don’t actually use any of the information they got from the testing due to the fact it can be inconclusive to use animals and assume that humans will react the same way. Also you can say that animals are better test subjects due to their short life span but the animals that do have short life spans don’t prove to be genetically similar to us at all including lab rats and other kind of

Overall the testing on animals is cruel and unfair it causes them fear, stress, and pain that is forced upon them without consent. It's useless because animal anatomy is different from human anatomy. Most likely the results will not end in a good way in order to help humans with their problems. There are different ways to find the solution to the experiments that scientist are doing and it would lead them to a better outcome. Animals would be able to live safe normal lives if these alternatives were taken into consideration.…

“92% of experimental drugs that are safe and effective in animals, fail in human clinical trials because they are too dangerous or don’t work” noted by The Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Obviously a solution to the constant abuse and unsuccessful testing is needed, but what? The answer should not be more animals; it should be new opportunities. New opportunities for animals as they escape into a normal life. New opportunities for humans as we further our understanding in technology so the use of animals is no longer needed.…

Thoughtful and creative title The total amount of animals killed each year in research is 19,500,000, there are many opinions on animal testing on whether it is beneficial or necessary. Proponents think that animal testing is important because it keeps humans from unnecessary testing, and helps us come up with new techniques to keep people healthy. Opponents oppose this because there are alternatives to animal testing, it is not safe for animals, and animals are very different from human beings and therefore make poor test subjects. In my opinion, I think that if there are alternatives to animal testing that there is no question that we should switch over.…

The side wanting animal testing and experimentation to continue forward has made points supporting their case. One belief is, people believe since their society’s God’s says it is acceptable to test on animals, they do also. To go along with the written words, it states animals have to be benefitting the humans in the experiments and no pain is to be intentional (Animal). In recent experimenting, the statements have been claimed true.…

To begin with , in my consider about animal testing comes down to be a big deal because their are people that are out and will do anything to save these animals from diseases , cancer and more . As in testing what their genetic's can do such as running as fast in 1.2 per second , hopping , swinging and , see how long they breathe under water a'lot of animals is pretty cool of what they can be able to do but when it comes down from a animal getting hurt it depends on us whether we can save or not as it states in the text 'I WOULDN'T BE ALIVE WITHOUT ANIMAL TESTS . But in fact most scientist do enjoy using animals for testing , because they become attached to them . all mammals have the same essential internal organs. To appear my well-being is to endorse whether animals testing is the best way of deciding whether products are safe for humans because animals are genetically similar to humans .this what I'm to be talking about today animal testing is still necessary to us people.…

Studies have shown that 95% of experimental drugs that are safe and effective on humans fail in human clinical trials because they are too dangerous word don 't work (“11 Facts About Animal Testing,” n.d). The animal tests don 't make sure the buyers are safe; companies kill animals not to protect us but to protect themselves in case one of their products blinds of poisons you (“The Life Of A Test Animal," n.d). Animal tested drugs have killed, disabled, or harmed millions of people (“Stop animal testing,” 2006). Diseases that are artificially used in animals in a laboratory are never identical to those that naturally happen to humans; animal species differ from one another a biologically, so it becomes more unlikely that the animal experiment results will correctly solve certain human conditions (“Experiments on Animals: Overview,” n.d). For example, former National Cancer Institute director, Dr. Richard Klausher said that they have cured mice with cancer for decades but it did not work on humans (“Experiments on Animals: Overview,” n.d).…

After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…
