He was a very great man in my opinion, yes he killed a lot of people but sacrifices must be made to make other things possible. Like for example building one of the greatest cities the world's ever seen it contained one of the 7 wonders of the world. This is just one example of how great he is. This man spread greece culture like wild fire. Alexander the great was a spiritual man he visited the oracle many times to figure out his prophecies which made the people of greece love him because they saw how dedicated and serious he was about their lives.
