According to Document A titled Alexander’s Empire, written by various sources, it shows the reader how disorderly Alexander traveled. He didn’t have a map, so Alexander and his men went to each town conquering one after the other not in any specific way. Alexander had no respect for these towns. At times, Alexander didn’t even know what he was conquering because he and his army were very disorganized on their journey with no strong regard of the outcome. Alexander and his men traveled east and west, in many circles, through mountains and deserts, just too takeover random cities. On the map of Alexander’s Empire, there is evidence that they got lost a few times as well. From Persepolis to Babylon, at Bucephala Nicaea, by Alexandria and the Hindu Kush Mountains, they had to turn around. It took Alexander about a eleven years to control from Macedonia to India. It was a short process for them to demolish the towns and then kill multiple innocent people. He would crucify the men and put the children and women into slavery. Once Alexander claimed the territory his, they would then move on to their next destination and leave the town with nothing, not even a ruler(which would end up being a part of his empire’s fall). Alexander continued to use this process with 70 more cities that he took over. Alexander and his men were also proven to be disorganized and chaotic in Document E, Alexander’s Legacy, written by many sources. It states that it took about eleven years for Alexander to conquer all these territories. But, the empire stayed together for only ten years after his death. Meaning that once Alexander died on June 10, 323 BCE because of his excessive drinking and partying, his “great” empire, all collapsed quicker than it was built. Since Alexander pulverized all these cities and then just left with his men, the outcome was that the people had no leader
