According to the Nielsen Company 2014 Report-Millennials Breaking the Myths, younger and older millennials are “social media junkies”. They are constantly tuned in to some form of social media application whether it is on their smartphone, laptops, or desktop. Therefore, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram will be utilized for direct advertising to raise brand awareness about Snapple products and to promotion the Snapple social media campaign that will run throughout the calendar year. Budgeting for Facebook and Twitter will be based on the $1.00 cost per click method and because we will use these two platforms to raise awareness, we plan to advertise daily. Therefore, our monthly budget will be allocated as follows:
Facebook
$4,838.71 per day in March, May, July, August, and October (30 Days in the month) $5,000.00 per day in April, June, and September (31 Days in the month)

Twitter $3,225.81 per day for March, May, July, August, and October

Fifty-eight percent of the millennial population are more likely to take advantage of the in-store offering and more likely to purchase new brands the packaging and in-store displays are enticing. Therefore, Snapple will utilize shelf-talkers and point of purchase displays that will make Snapple products stand out among the crowd. Shelf-talkers and point-of-purchase displays has the potential to increase consideration among millennials because they will be drawn to the Snapple products. Because of the coupons that will be offered and the display advertising will grab their attention. The display advertising will also showcase the freshness and the “made from the best stuff on earth” slogan because the Millennial Impact article revealed that millennials are health-conscience habits translates into their food purchases and they are more likely to purchase products that advertise
