A known drug that is used to improve the performance and to increase physical strength. This drug contains hormones, and vitamins to boost the performance of the average human. This could make the user stronger permanently. (Used in bodybuilding) There are many variations of steroids. Steroids can be used illegally, or for medical purposes.

Effects The effects of steroids can both be good and bad. The good parts of Steroids are that it can be used to build muscle faster, and it can make you run faster. They also have negative side effects, such as acne, and quicken heart rate (good or bad in different ways.)

Steroids can not only help with body building, but it can increase your running speed. It is the same logic used for body building. It helps you increase muscles because the amount of muscle cells that comes to your muscle increase. How does this help with running speed? With more muscular strength, you are able to make longer strides and push off the ground with more force. This would extremely improve your running. Steroids can affect your running speed just as it can make you build muscles over time.

(Cons) Even though steroids could look great on one side, the other side could change your mind or make you think twice. Steroids has its negative side effects. One of them is acne, a symptom that shows you took steroids. Acne is a skin condition that mostly affects the face. It is red pimples that are formed because of infected glands. (sebaceous) Therefore, taking steroids can affect your skin.

Steroids can also damage your mentality. The use of steroids is known to make you feel depressed while using it and suicidal while trying to avoid usage. Steroids is quite lethal mentally.

Not only does Steroids damage your brain, it can affect your other organs. It increases your heart rate rapidly and damages the liver.
