They should not be forced to have to give their children something that could have negative effects because of the ingredients contained in them. Many ingredients that are present in some vaccines can harm the child rather than protect them. An example would be the ingredient known as Thimerosal that could lead to autism in a child. This ingredient is most commonly found in the flu shot which is an extremely recommended vaccine. Another ingredient is Human Albumin, which is pooled human venous plasma this ingredient could be harmful to a child injected with a vaccine containing this. Human albumin could lead to a child getting a fever, having hives, getting a rash, having difficulty breathing, and causing them to have a rapid heart rate. Unnatural ingredients are also included when making some of the vaccines that are used. For example, vaccines such as Hep A (Hepatitis ),Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae type b), IPV (Inactivated polio vaccine),and the flu contain ingredients that could conflict with vegetarian needs. The organizations that are for pro-vaccines agree that natural ingredients are better to use than unnatural ones. For example, according to The Arizona Partnership For Immunization(TAPI), members of the Dutch Reformed Church have been refusing vaccines dating back to the 1800s, and this comes from their belief that vaccines can interfere with the relationship with their God. Another religion opposed to vaccinations are Christian Scientist, this group has a strong belief in healing by faith, they believe that this has become a forgotten concept in Christianity that needs to be rejuvenated. Australia is the only country in the world that recognizes their religious beliefs as the reason to refuse vaccinations(Grimm). Forcing parents to vaccinate kids against their religious beliefs is morally wrong and is in direct violation of their first amendment
