It is an ongoing argument on whether high school students should arrive at schools later to help the teens who are sleep deprived, depressed and have serious mood swings. This is inconvenient for a number of reasons. Parents cannot get their children to school on time if the school time is changed, and it interrupts the teens schedules who are already accustomed to the 7:30 time scheduling.
In the passage “ High schools starting later to help sleepy teens” by: Michelle Trudeau it states that later school times are helping the teens be more alert in class, they have less depression issues and the parents have less problems than before due to their emotions being more regulated.
