A DVD teaching about the power of positive self-esteem and how learning about to be assertive when communicating with others will help when students have to role play and give scenarios about saying no to peer pressure. Another type of video that can be used is one about teens and unplanned pregnancies in which it will help the teacher lead students through the topics brought up in lecture, and students can develop a bigger foundation of knowledge. Also for students who are visual and auditory learners this is a great way for them to lean about the topic. Furthermore, while watching the video, students will write down ten sentences about what have learned from the video. In addition, another great way to bring the discussion alive is to use objects to demonstrate the different types of birth control that can be used. Teachers will teach the students the purpose and description of each product.
