As is seen in my experience with reading, people lose interest in things they once loved when it becomes a chore to do so. I used to be a passionate reader when I was younger. I would eagerly pick out numerous books from the library and spend hours at a time reading, loving how I was able to suspend my disbelief for the sake of enjoyment.
