Workplace drug screening or testing can be a touchy topic. It is true that they want employees to be healthy and more productive. But if you’re not careful you might break the law. There are generally two forms of workplace drug testing: Pre-employment screening and post-employment testing. The latter, in particular, comes with a host of cultural and legal issues.

Pre-employment drug testing or screening helps prevent the hiring of individuals who abuse drugs and is most often performed as a part of the job application process in all the company.
