Transformational Leadership and Change This article proposes an in depth investigation of the relationships transformational leaders, organizational justice and employees’ motivation in organizations changes (Deschamps, Rinfret, Lagacé & Privé, 2016). In order to investigation, the article took Quebec’s healthcare system because of its long history of reform and restructuring (Deschamps, Rinfret, Lagacé & Privé, 2016). Over the years the quasiperpetual reorganizations of the system have affected every healthcare institution in Quebec (Breton, Levesque, Pineault, Lamothe & Denis, 2008). This usually creates stress among employees and also employees will lose their motivation to work. The organizations are always changes because of the changing nature of their business, maybe that will be the expansion of the company, maybe the organization is closing down due to the lack of business opportunities. There are positive changes and negative changes that can happen to organization and its effect their employees as well. So the organizations need to have a solution to deal with their employees during these changes and their solution is the leaderships. Leaderships help the employees to overcome changes of the organization but how it helps and what is the role of organizational justice in it. This article considers leadership and organizational justice as two separate factor to solve the problem regarding employees. Article studies show that, even though both leadership and organizational justice can be to solve employee problems during the organizational changes but it will more effective if the leadership uses organization justice to solve problem during organizational changes. IGate has a lot of outsourcing projects which are done in different firms. Due to high competition in the outsourcing field, iGate lost a lot of outsourcing opportunity, which created unemployment of iGate employees. When the crisis reached the maximum effect, most of employees left the company which creates stress among the remaining employees. Most of the employees lost their motivation to work, and managers from different division started fighting. This situation that IGate faced is a negative change that occurred in the organization. This change was new to the employees as well as top management of the organization. But this situation was temporary, because of the quick action of the CEO Phaneesh Murthy. Here the IGate faced all this problems regarding their employees mainly because of the lack of the leadership in the mid -level managers. If IGate had managers with good leadership quality, this problem would get solved earlier and it would not be any big issue. IGate did not have mid managers with good leadership quality that is the reason why the CEO Phaneesh Murthy had taken a big step which is to merge with an Indian based company Patni, which is three times bigger than his acquirer iGate.
