Malcolm Gladwell’s book, The Tipping Point is about marketing, to explain how a phenomenon, a product, a trend suddenly pop up. Its target audience is those people who do product design. As s product designer, what they often want to figure out other people’s products. They will fathom the advantages and disadvantages of products, then, improve their own products. This book would be helpful for them because the author gives three laws about how to tip an epidemic. These three laws tell product designers the three types of people that help to spread out the news and start up a trend; how the product itself of people that help to spread out the news and start up a trend; how the product itself will be “sticky”, impressive; and last, it complements
