As of right now in America, the legalization of Marijuana has been approved in eight states for recreational use, and eighteen other states for medical uses. Therefore, there are forty-two states that have not approved the drug for recreational use, and also have criminal laws against the drug. One of these states happens to be the state of Ohio. Although the state approved uses of the drug when it comes to medical issues, Ohio continues to reject any attempts to legalize it for recreational use. Since it is legalized in other states, changes have been shown within it legalization, and many of these have had positive impacts.
