As possibly the simplest form of animatronics is the way creators make it seem as if a real tiger is speaking and forming words, in The Jungle Book you can see many examples of this; from shere to Baloo, each animal seems perfectly animated to the flow of the words using to communicate with the main character. As the rising action is approaching the climax a key scene where Mowgli meets with the king of the apes, after escaping the grasps of the king, the king's kingdom comes tumbling down; stones flying everywhere with vines whipping and snapping around all the characters. With the introduction of special effects to this scene it gives a key aspect of showing the vast stone kingdom in which the apes live, it shows how they have become to live in an area that is abandoned by man who has found new land. Greed had taken over the apes kingdom as now they are trying to hypnotize Mowgli to believe he should give them the “red flower” and take the power from man in which they fear greatly due to much of their own land being taken from them just years before, using the “red flower” against man is a type of payback for the …show more content…
Throughout The Jungle Book you can hear many sounds of birds, crunching of leaves and many other sounds that are a mixture of diegetic and nondiegetic. When Mowgli and Baloo finally start working together and enter into song together, the viewer gets a feeling of accomplishment as well as teamwork as they did things together. In another mysterious scene you hear a motif when a mystery character is preying on Mowgli to trick into eating; this character has a very slow hypnotizing song played as he lurks around his prey. Using this slow hypnotizing song allows for a mixture of emotion to be felt; one for a sense of mystery as the scene develops and the dark screen shows flashes of what it may be, another is a scared feeling for Mowgli as something is surely going to happen badly for him. This use of music allows a further enhancement of a picture but mostly gives a set of emotions to be felt by the viewer as each scene
