Special shoes and shooting technique help performance in basketball. Having good shoes can help run up and down the court faster. Ankle supportive shoes are helpful also. Most coaches will suggest getting ankle support shoes, just so someone doesn’t get hurt. They can wear ankle braces, but don’t have to. Coaches also suggest good name brand shoes such as Nike, Under Armour and Adidas. If basketball shoes have no support, most likely to roll their ankles and get hurt. There are minor things to do asso, like they can do like simple wrapping ankles too! Also having basketball socks, can be better too. Shooting form can have a lot to do with how one shoots . Knowing the outline of basketball will help you. Some basketball rules are, 2 steps or more is a travel, 5 fouls. More rules are 2 technicals, 5 seconds holding the ball, and 5 second dribbling the ball. No kicking basketball or ref with whistle. Foul well shooting, shoot free throws. Fouls on the ground, out of bounce. Free throws are worth 1 point. Anything inside 3 point line is 2 point. Anything outside of 3 point line is 3 points. 10 seconds to get across half court. Over and back when one team touches ball and they go over half court when they already went over it. Last make sure they are out of bounce when through the ball in. The game of basketball is really important if someone wants to play. Knowing what to do when they have the ball, and when they don’t. Dribbling with head up, looking to pass. Hard dribbles everywhere, pound dribbles when drive. Be creative with drives, use different moves to get around defense. Pass the ball, until open. Follow through when shoot, go after ball.
