Working for a very large organization, you expect there to be some good level of leadership to help and direct you in the right way. I was under the impression that there was good leadership in the organization, but was shocked to learn that leadership was nothing close to this. The leadership team was not in any organized format to where the employees are able to go and get assistance. The one main person, who did not have any leadership skills, was my co-worker who I worked with on a daily basis. She was not aware of what was going on around her and focused all of her attention on what she was doing and needed. This caused a great deal of conflict with all of the employees as she was not one to offer assistance. With having a leadership …show more content…
First type is external, which refers issues such as lack of funding and other resources. The social, economic and political impact has a lot of effect on this type of challenge. A few ways to correct this challenge is to be proactive, creative, and to face conflict squarely. The second type is internal, referring to within an organization of leadership. Few examples of this type include: fear, lack of confidence, impatience, intolerance, and insecurity. A few ways to correct this challenge can be: listen to peoples responses, ask for feedback and use it, and look at what is happening around you. The last type is arising from itself. This is from the leadership that is being demonstrated at an organization. Few examples of this are as such: one person taking on the burden, motivating other people, and all responsibility on one person.
