I was shocked to learn that there are many people in America that live without these things, and after moving to Barbourville, I became one of those people; and I am so grateful that I did. I have become a less needy person, I have realized that I do not need all of these extra things in life, and that I am fully capable of living and surviving in a small town. It took me a while to get used to Union, with one of the reasons being that I was so unfamiliar with my surroundings; I felt lost. As I overcame the big changes and allowed myself to became more comfortable in Barbourville, I was able to focus more on my classes and
