“Etiquette is a set of unwritten rules that apply to social situations, professional workplaces and relationships. In the business world, good business etiquette means that you act professionally and exercise proper manners when engaging with others in your profession.” (Sheahan, 2017)
First of all, I believe that Business etiquette is important in the career management context because it builds a healthy relationship between employee and the business. As we all know, the first impression is very important. Especially when it concerns an acquaintance of professional interest. The way you interact with your superiors, fellow workers speak a lot about your personality and education level. Companies want staff who will perform well in their businesses.

Firstly, it helped me a lot in my previous job. In this job, most of the times I was working in teams, everything had to be with collaboration, organization and time management. Various times I felt a lot of pressure from my employers and colleagues, but I was trying to be patient and show respect to the people around me. Sometimes there was a lack of communication between the members of the group, but I was trying to be landed and just doing my job without getting out of bounds. My employers were around me on a daily basis, so I had to have a good behavior all my hours of work, talk in a civil manner to my colleagues, do not raise my tone of voice and be serious. I showed respect for my employers because they gave me a job and also because they are respected and superior persons. I was trying to be polite with them, to be on time without delays. Finally, before leaving this job, my employers congratulated me and thanked me for the job that I offered to them. I was dressed in a suit, I followed the dress code and when Ι finished with the interview about questions about my skills, recruiter commented my appearance, I heard very positive comments, that through my outfit I reflect my character and the job targets. Also, recruiter gave me some examples of previous candidates for the specific job, that they were improperly dressed, for example, earrings on the face, tattoos and short skirts. There were many candidates for this job, but they had to choose only a small groom. The results of this whole discussion were that after a few hours they called me and offered me the job. I do not know if the decision was based on the appearance, but I am sure that I would not change anything about my dress code that I
