During this stage one group denies the humanity of another group. The other group is often looked at and compared to animals. The main group or superior group feels that they are better off without that group in society. An example, of this would be in Nazi Germany when Jews where living in the ghettos eating scraps and living in poor conditions. This is another example of civil war they made the Jews feel inferior to other groups there, and treated them as if they were not humans.
5) The fifth stage is organization and this is the planning stage of mass murdering. During this phase, they would go and organize groups usually with militia help. During this phase, the lifeless bodies are hidden and put into mass graves to cover up the incident. The aftermath is usually serious and often find ways to justify their crimes as if they were doing the right thing. Most times they are granted impunity and do not face trial for their murders. However, the crimes they committed will always have an everlasting effect on their mind and the rest of the world.
