One of the things they did, was createthe country Israel. This gave Jews a homeland that they never had before. All this informationare true facts, I included this to show that my argument is factual and not just based on my ownopinion. With that much information about the holocaust, I still don’t understand deniers motive. But let’s take a closer look at their standpoint. Today, denial has largely been relegated to fringehate groups, neo-Nazis, and anti-Semites. The Nizkor Project has an entire section of its websitedevoted to the statements of the National Socialist White People’s Party on denial. Their leader,Harold Covington, is quoted from a 1996 bulletin paraphrasing leading critic of Holocaust denialDeborah Lipstadt: “The real purpose of Holocaust revisionism is to make National Socialism anacceptable political alternative again,” Covington summarizes. Issues pertaining to race or even still about religion. It opened my eyesto see how we need to change the way we live, the way we view those different than us. To learnfrom the mistakes others committed before, and teach ourselves to not let them reoccur or evenhave a chance to blossom as it did in the past. If there is anything to take from this horrific eventin history is that we are all unique and different in many ways, and that not accepting that leadsto conflict with no winner, just losers. How people handle situations today in foreign countries are way different than howpeople used to handle them because of Auschwitz concentration camp. It's amazing how theHolocaust impacted the world then, and how it still impacts the world today. Deniers can saytheir opinions but I can not see their standpoint on how none of it happened when cleary it didfrom all the evidence. I tried to write this paper using information for background knowledge forA better understanding and using an example, like Auschwitz, for hard evidence for myargument. The deniers argument makes me sick, but freedom of speech is a thing and that is theiropinion. But I will always argue that the Holocaust was a horrific,
