Death Penalty
“No one deserves to be killed all life is sacred even those who chose the evil path in life”(Anonymous). The majority of us know what the Death Penalty is and hear all the nasty things people have done to deserve that sentence, but very few of us really consider that another life will be taken. View Figure 1 below to see what states use the death penalty (“States With”):

Executions have been around for centuries started with hangings to decapitations to electric chair to gas chamber to firing squads and finally stopping at the lethal injection. Most of us will agree that life is the most important thing in this world and should never be taken by someone but some of us seem to ignore this when it comes to criminals. I believe that the Death Penalty should be illegal in all states because criminals need to be given a second chance, most criminals are wrongfully accused, and they are running out of the lethal injection.
Firstly Most of us can think of a time when we made a mistake and we were given a second chance. If we show them mercy there’s a possibility they can do some good in this world.
