Does a can of soda have enough influence, to bring back harmony to neighbors that have had a complex with each other for over half a century? The realistic answer would be no. However the attempt, with the help of modern technology can bring promising results of restoration to human faith. The Coca-Cola Company has made an ad that utilizes two high-tech vending machines. Each vending machine equipped with interactive capabilities, sizeable screens, and live streaming cameras. The vending machines were placed in two bordering countries; Pakistan and India. These countries have been divided by hate, barbwire fences, and unjust politics. These vending machines were specially designed to help people communicate and interact with one another, in the hopes to restore human relations, even if just long enough to plant the smallest idea of peace. The Coca-Cola Company has accomplished just that with a project which received an enthusiastic response from both territories. This project was successful and persuasive. People had fun waving to each other, interacting by drawing smiling faces with touch screen, and of course sharing a coke with each other and enjoying the moment.

This ad had featured ordinary people with their actual interactions, not featuring any famous actors. The location was inside two shopping malls, one in each country, approximately 325 miles away from each other. The intention was to repair the connection between India and Pakistan.
