During the course of the Organization, Culture, Politics, and Communication Program, illustrating the organizational culture of the family-based cleaning business, known as the Tennin Cleaning Service (TCS), was an interesting observation to illustrate. In summary, the TCS’ Organizational culture focuses on the notion of teamwork. For example, the TCS embraces that teamwork is the root of how the family-based cleaning business perform its custodial duties towards cleaning residential and commercial establishments. First, the Coercive organization is the first of the three of Etzioni’s Fundamental Distinction between Three Types of Organization. In particular, Schein (2017) defined the Coercive organization as an authoritative organization, where organizational members focus on the physical and economic perspectives of the organization (p. 278). Simply by organizational members, following the rules that are imposed by authoritative figures in the organization (Schein, 2017, p. 278). Second, the Utilitarian organization is the second of Etzioni’s Fundamental Distinction between Three Types of Organization. Particularly, the Utilitarian organization defined organizational members as economic trade-offs for the organization, as to organizational members trading off his or her work for pay from the organization (Schein, 2017, p. 278). Third, the Normative organization is the final type of organization of the Etzioni’s Fundamental Distinction between Three Types of Organization. In particular, the Normative organizations focus on the commitment of organizational members accomplishing the organizational goals of the organization (Schein, 2017, p. 279). In addition, the Normative organizations also portray itself as a type of organizational culture, where establishing power and control on organizational members and not paying close attention to developing meaningful-professional relationships with individuals within the organization (Schein, 2017, p.
