The paper will effectively analyse three concepts on how to keep patient safety through teamwork, situational awareness and decision-making as these are frequently contributed to patient’s adverse reactions during their context of nursing care. For example, the study in United State of America Agency of Healthcare Research and Quality, (2004) and Transforming the Work Environment of Nurses, (2004) has contradicted that teamwork, situational awareness and decision making are the common factors that results into errors and harms to patients during their hospitalisation.
