I do not think teachers should be allowed to carry a concealed weapon on school premises. Outside of school, depending on your background check you may be able to conceal carry, which I do believe is a good idea for safety reasons. The only men or women that should be able to carry a gun on school premises is a police officer, or a retired or undeployed military veteran. My lab personally, is on the adult side of the building, as young as us girls are we get worried about the smallest things. We saw a gentlemen wearing a belt towards the end of last year that had something that looked like gun shells on it, so of course being paranoid we reported it and the entire building went into a teach in place. Could you imagine how we would feel knowing that any of our teachers could be talking to us with a gun holstered on their hip less than two feet away from us. Even with the proper training by law enforcement, a gun could be used for the wrong thing, by any one person.
