Especially in business communication language can go both ways good or bad. If you are able to express what you intend to express and send the intended message to the employees then you are in good shape. On the other hand if your communication goes wrong or you send the message what you did not intend to send then it will do several undesirable result as follows as per “ Susan Washburn”which she mentioned her book titled “The Miscommunication Gap”.

• Loss of productivity
• Inefficiency and rewor
• Conflict
• Missed opportunities
• Schedule slippage (delays, missed deadlines)

Sometimes a symptom of lazy communication. Cliché could be bored the audience. Audience may think the speaker did not do enough research for her/his speech. As you can see, the problem with clichés is that they often sound silly or boring. Clichés lose their impact because readers and listeners tend to gloss over them, assuming their common meaning while ignoring your specific use of them. As a result, they can be obstacles to successful communication. For example if I was told to write a report about the status of testing which is going on right now. If I use too much cliché in my report the reporting manager may think I did not pay attention in details when I get updates from the testing team. People do use euphemisms when they talk to others. For example, few days back there was cricket match (Asian favorite sports) between Pakistan and Bangladesh and Bangladesh won the match with Pakistan. Nest day I went to the office people who know my nationality say fish is working in your body means Bangladeshi people eat fish and rice. That is our national food you can say.
Doublespeak
Doublespeak is the deliberate use of words to disguise, obscure, or change meaning. I am not sure what Donald Trump stated in National TV that All Muslims should be banned entering United State of America to save this country. Then he modified the statement as long as United States of America come up with a solution how to stop terrorism around the world or within in United State of America.
